Since the 2005 contest, Amy Marie & Megan decided it was time to hand the reins over to Generation 3 so the 2006 contest was a celebration of the Generation 2 Producers and Bare Images Production. The last year of Generation 2 was held in Omaha, July 13-16, 2006 and it was the 20th Anniversary of the IMsL Contest and the 8th for the IMsBB competition. The host hotel was the Reddick Plaza Hotel and the contest was held at The Max.
The Judges were all past IMsL winners: Pat Baillie (1995), Jill Carter (1996), Jo Blas (2000), Joni Perri (2001), and Jessi Holman-Ahart (2005). The Judges boy was Joe Welch. The MC’s were Jon Krongaard and Connie Cox. The theme was “Celebrating 20 Years of Pride”.
There were 2 IMSL contestants with one returning contestant and 1 IMsBB contestant in 2006:
- Beth Roberts, Greenwood, IN
- Lady Faye, Dallas, TX
- BB – Ms V (did not compete), Alameda, CA
- BB – Alex Bettencourt, Medford, MA
Even though a small class, there was lots of support for the contestants and lots to do. According to Leather Life, the last of Saturday’s seminars was special—a twenty-year retrospective on IMsL’s history as told by eight IMsL titleholders. Toward the end of the evening the International Ms Bootblack torch was passed from Suka, last year’s titleholder, to Bettencourt. Then, in a highly emotional moment, there was another torch-passing: Amy and Megan Meek-DeJarlais stepped aside as contest producers, turning the IMsL and IMsBB titles over to new producer Glenda Rider. The culmination of the evening was the announcement of the new IMsL 2006: Lady Faye.
We need class pictures or any other items from the 2006 contest. We are looking for pictures or videos from those days and especially the contest. If you have any of these, please send them to email@example.com. Do you know where these women are or have a way to contact them? We are inviting them all to join us for the IMsL 30th year, April 14-17, 2016 for our Class Reunion! Check out the rest of program and more about 2006!
Glenda Rider as the new executive producer announced plans to return to San Francisco for the 2007 weekend – on to Generation 3 and thanks for the work and passion of Generation 1 & 2 to get us here to celebrate the 30th!

Why do you want to be International Ms Leather?
For years, I have worked in the local leather community helping to promote education, understanding and responsibility. I have not had the opportunity to travel as much as I would have liked due to the fact I had a slave in college for the last few years. I feel strongly as a Mistress I have a responsibility to make certain my save will be able to support herself should something happen to me or should we decide to part ways. So many times in this lifestyle, slaves and submissives find themselves with nothing to fall back on should the Master/slave relationship come to an end. I chose to compete for the International Ms Leather title to help draw further attention to this very important issue.
